Blog 6 - Postgraduate Studies

 Hi Everyone.

This is my last year studying musical composition so for me is very important to know what I'm gonna do the next year of my professional life, and one of the plans that I have in mind is to study a postgraduate of composition in Russia, at the conservatory of Saint Petersburg. Really awesome right? Well... this last two years I studied Russian language course to apply at the conservatory, I very love the language and the culture of Russia, there is a lot of many famous composer that I feel influenced throughout my career, one example of that is the composer Dimitri Shostakovich, a composer who lived between world wars, but his music it is so amazing and powerful, so I want to study his culture and his techniques to do the same music as him. 

But, a conversation with my friends and teachers, my plans has changed completely, because I will like to study in Russia with an excellent level of performance and learn about Russian culture, but I think that this plan it´s for to be a person who prove that I make it and think that this music composer is a genius, but I don´t wanna do that, I prefer share my knowledge to people who don´t have an access to music, and teach of some music theory that I learn in the university, because musical knowledge always has been stay in urban cities, and I want to expand to others places. How I´m going to do that? My plans are to do a project for make classes in the south, as far away as possible.
